Rivera Residence Project
Three-storey townhouse decorating for a family of three. The design process ranges from the decoration of a single room to the renovation and design of an entire house. Rivera Residence is designed in Vintage modern style. The residence’s colour palette is dominated by neutrals, greys and accents of coral and blues. Creamy neutrals bring layers of warmth to decor, plus they’re so versatile that they evoke the hues of the nature and the Earth. Grishma has introduced metallic accents of 2016 trends in accessories and lightings. Natural wooden flooring and ceiling continue the organic aesthetic, while natural Paonazzetto Marble stone surfaces and cabinets demonstrate the designer’s uncompromising approach to detailing and customization. The design approach for teenage girl Riley’s room is clean lined with coral & winding tones to create perfect balance and comfort. The design approach for teenage boy Jordan’s room is Modern style inspired from the mystery of sky tones. The Residence celebrates comfort, culture and style.
The Rivera Residence project was designed as her final project in the Interior Decorating program at Humber College. The Rivera Residence project showcases Grishma's ability to put together a professional Interior Design presentation complete with a detailed floor plan and perspective renderings manually and digitally using SketchUp.
